The Nike Basketball Elite Collection 2.0 officially makes its debut this Saturday, 4/20, with the Nike Plus enabled Gold Pack trio for LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. One week later is the official launch for the Superhero pack, which comes without Nike+ capabilities, but enhanced with other powers in the form of the Nike LeBron X PS Elite, the Nike KD V PS Elite, and the Nike Kobe 8 PS Elite. In the video below, Nike design director Leo Chang breaks down the entire Nike Basketball Elite Collection which includes breaking down each piece of the collection from an aesthetic and technological standpoint as well explaining the entire story behind the Superhero concept. Cool video. I still wish they would've modeled the Superhero pack after actual superheros but I do like the concepts behind each pair.
