Usually it’s okay to wear signature shoes that belong to other NBA players in the regular season, but in the Playoffs things get serious. For that reason, we often see players switch to non-signature kicks when facing the enemy. Will Manu Ginobili, who really seems to enjoy LeBron James’ shoes, switch to something more generic for tonight’s game? Ever since he started wearing the LEBRON 9 (Freegums) last year, and followed with another pair – Argentina colorway on Nike iD – for the Olympic Games, he’s been fairly consistent with his selection of basketball kicks. Nowadays he’s into the LEBRON X and has already wore both Carbon and Prism (great match for the San Antonio Spurs!) colorways throughout the post season. Would you change shoes if you were playing against a signature athlete?
