When the Fruity Pebbles IV’s were introduced at the New York Pop-up Exhibition people went absolutely crazy. The Nike Zoom LeBron IV was a ground breaking shoe on its own. Both NYC’s and the Family Size edition just added to that fire. Back then the “regular” edition was shown… with filled color pods on the sole (click here for more pics). However, when LeBron James decided to rock these in an NBA game, which happened one time only on 12/01/06, he wore an alternate version of the shoe. Notice the sole (first photo)… the pods on the sole are white inside and there’s only a translucent trim on the edges. Also, there seems to be less pebbles on the midsole. Both Fruity Pebbles ZLIVs – regular and alternate – are pictured after the jump.

Im a huge fan of lebrons but why is he being such a sore loser everyone including mj and kobe gets dunked on.
The alternate version of the shoe was the shoe that was on display at the pop up event in NYC. One of the reps brought out the other shoe. :)
