The whole “Quai 54” LeBron Soldier 9 launch took us all by surprise. It was a nice surprise, though. I like the idea of the Nike Soldier line releasing in May instead of July / August because I can get much more use of them during the summer. Now it turns out the initial “Sprite” colorway has been launched today and you can get them at either Eastbay or Footlocker.
The ninth version of the Nike Zoom Solider is built to support your explosive game. It features an innovative strap system that contains the foot from front-to-back and side-to-side for 360 degree of lockdown. You also get Zoom Air units for low-profile, responsive cushioning and decoupled rubber pods for durability and range of motion. From the looks of it, the Soldier IX is going to be just as good as the previous version, which is one of my all time favorites on the basketball court. Stay tuned for more info soon.
