LeBron James’ Playoff Shoe – Nike Zoom Soldier III POP

LeBron’s size and versatility as a player is really the key to why his shoes are different. He brings a whole new perspective to basketball. He’s one of the strongest players on court and also one of the quickest at the same time. This was the main inspiration for creating the Zoom Soldier III, because lightweight can equal strength and lightweight can also mean durability. Ken Link and Nike designers were pushing the envelope with the ZSIII as they bring a new approach to the Soldier line. It’s all about building a shoe for the Playoffs, building a shoe for durability and strength but at the same time creating a lightweight and breathable weapon, strong enough to withstood a beating of an NBA Playoff battle. Also, it’s not all about the technology as the new Soldier incorporates LeBron’s unique personality, especially the POP (PlayOff Pack) edition featured below. Apart from the usual logos (Dunkman, Lionhead, Nike signature, L23) there’s a special crest on the top of the tongue. The three key components are the Lion’s Head, the Milkcrate and the Mr. Basketball. They represent King James’ style, but also where he’s been and what he stands for, and it’s about the pride of the game – basketball. The Playoff Nike Zoom Soldier III is a limited General Release model and at this point it’s not available online, but you can find it at selected local Nike accounts across the U.S. and in Asia.

  • Probably the most wicked colorway of all the ZS3's. Looks a bit like the jordan 11's though......

  • It's both GR of the ZS3 is black/white/red though the only thing is the other one is called the Playoff pack. But to answer your question its Black/white/red. There's a previous thread posted a ZS3 Navy-blue/white here just look in the previous post.

  • yaw must be retarded these are killing everything, they look hella clean,,the white is killing, these are the ones.

  • saw these at my local Footlockers and they never get anything that is really limited release so you'd have to assume these are a Footlocker exclusive but not a HoH kind of thing. too bad they only had 11.5 down in sizes! i would have copped them today.
