Nike Zoom Soldier III Speckled Grey aka “Safari” Catalog Pics

Over the past few days we introduced several colorways of the latest Nike LeBron shoe – Zoom Soldier III. We profiled the Speckled Grey ZS3 earlier this month too. But here are some new pictures presenting this sample (so far) colorway. It’s definitely something fresh in LeBron James’ signature shoes as it features a Grey upper with Safari inprint and a White speckled midsole sitting on a Grey translucent outsole. The finishing touch are Yellow logos and interior combining for a “Safari” look. It’s a little different from the previous sample model as it lost the multicolored stitching on the straps. This unique Nike Zoom Soldier 3 style is slated for release later this year. Stay tuned for updates.

  • YES YES YES... Nike is FINALLY putting some creative materials on instead of just slapping shiny crap all over their sig lines. Is anyone else sick of this? I creatively appreciate this shoe and hope to see more like this from the LBJ line in regard to creativity with materials (ballistic mesh, pebbled upper). Overall I'm not nuts about the CW... but I like the thought!

  • Well... that was usually the case, but I think there were plenty of unique designs regarding the last sig shoe - ZLVI. I mean Big Apple, Chalk, LA, Miami, Taxi... and a lot more. Materials were mixed too... THE LEBRONS are the best example here.

  • Kaczala ~ yeah man... well noted but those were still LE's. I was really disappointed to see the first GR had a faux patent toebox. The POP's I will tolerate because it works. I'm just really sick of Nike and Jordan slapping patent / cement / elephant on stuff just to sell it.

For the most part historically we can see innovation with materials from the LBJ line and it will be nice to see that incorporated into more of the GR's for us everyday cats who can't HOH it... or drop the big dollar$!

I think the patent looks real nice.
