Breaking: A Man Shot During the Nike LeBron X Denim Release

Limited sneaker releases tend to bring the worst in some people. Here’s the latest example. The release of the Nike LeBron X Denim shoe has been blemished by violence in Little Five Points, GA. The Denim X’s have been eagerly anticipated – especially in light of the Miami Heat pulling out a nail-biting victory over the San Antonio Spurs last Thursday. Early Saturday morning, a man who tried to rob people waiting in line to purchase the shoes was shot and killed by one of the customers. The unidentified robber was fatally shot outside of the Wish clothing and shoe store. His shooter is reportedly licensed to carry a concealed weapon and returned to his place in line after the shooting. Assuming every detail reported is true, this unfortunate story seems to be about the deceased robber attempting to take advantage of the situation, not the shoes or LeBron James. Hopefully, the rest of the releases worldwide was much safer than this one. Getting back to the shoes… check out the Denims in an alternate look with Pink laces.

  • Now deaths are coming from the anticipation of LeBron's? Wow, LeBron and Nike better step it up. NOBODY should be killed. ESPECIALLY over a pair of sneakers. C'mon man..
