Your 2010-11 Most Valuable… Shoe! South Beach Nike LeBron 8.

This season, LeBron James wasn’t able to secure a third in a row NBA Most Valuable Player Award. After arriving in Miami, the two time season MVP admitted that both he and D-Wade kind of cancel each other out in MVP consideration. He was able to achieve something entirely different. LeBron’s shoe game has been solid since day one. This website is a testimony of that. However, this season Nike and LBJ took it to another level with the release of the South Beach colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 – the shoe commemorating the arrival of King James in Florida. Especially now, looking back at this October release, it’s still hard to believe in the hype surrounding the shoe. It was a limited drop and it’s become difficult to find a pair for a reasonable price. Usually $160 sneakers can double their value after a somewhat successful campaign, but the South Beach 8’s are already reaching 4-digit numbers. It’s crazy, but there is something about them that makes us go nuts. What’s your opinion? Is the hype real? Hit us in the comments and as always enjoy the pics. Shout out to osneaker.com, cause that’s where I got my pair.

Yep. My size. I was really lucky for a change :D

What about you? how's your LBJ8 game?

  • I got mine and I really like em. I just still feel like we got shafted with this year with this being the only "special" or "exclusive" release in my opinion. There were no school releases and nothing else that really meant anything.

  • I'm still the only person in philly with a pair that I know of...i wore then like ten times since they came out...# fresh

  • They dont reissue them because then they would become less of a commodity. You snooze you lose buddy!
