Throwback Thursday: Where Real Cavs Colorways Happen – The Chalk

I love this shoe. The Six was awesome on its own, but this colorway made things special. It’s unique, has a story behind it, and I’m sure fans in Cleveland were thrilled to get a true Cavaliers colorway from Nike. That’s why I like the Akron edition so much, cause it’s also a nice match with Cavaliers’ alternate – Navy Blue – uniforms. Too bad LeBron James did wear them only once, but at least they made it a Chalk party. Anyway, what’s not to like? Patent Leather toebox? Chalk “spilled” all over the shoe? 3M reflective midsole imitating Hardwood when hit by the lights? Awesome! Enjoy our new photographs featuring the Chalk Six and some real Cavs Chalk straight from The Q.

  • These are my favorie Lebron VI, there was so much thought put into this shoe. It was just super special! What is not to love about it. Instant Classic!

  • Co-Sign with Lyon! I didn't pull the trigger on these and regret it. Just a few weeks later I did pick-up the Soldier II OLY/TATTOO and don't regret that at all! I still love the CHALKS... fav VI

  • Best and favorite VI's. So glad I was able to get em, along with the special Christmas shirts that released alongside them.

  • IMO, these Christmas editions were better than the VII's. The game was also very good against the wiz that year!
