Throwback Thursday: Nike Zoom LeBron V All-Star Game Exclusive

The All-Star Weekend is getting closer. We’ve already profiled LeBron James‘ All-Star Game shoes for the festivities in Dallas – the Nike Air Max LeBon VII – numerous times. Some of you are probably starting to receive their shipments from NDC and Eastbay. From what I hear the shoes are amazing in person. Today we want to take a look back at on of the previous ASG shoes from the Nike LeBron collection. It’s the Zoom LeBron V in Blue, Silver, and Red. It’s the one worn by King James on his way to his second All-Star Game MVP award back in 2006. One more interesting note… the All-Star V’s are almost 1.5 ounce lighter than the regular model. • How fitting since I broke out my black/crimson V's today! The V may not be considered a significant model but hands down it is one of the finest fitting Bron's to date. You could ball laceless and they'd still hug your feet and lockdown with the strap.

  • amazing shoes not good to ball in. They rub too much against your toes and you gotta wear long socks.

I could see that for sure. I've got a narrow foot and they fit me which means they're likely tight on others. I'm not sure about the non-leather uppers but the materials were so nice that they are a little thicker and heavier which does restrict their flex. I ball in mine... no problems.
