The Showcase: LeBron “South Beach” Family (Shoes, Slides, Socks)

One of the great things about LeBron James playing in Miami is… the South Beach theme. It’s one of the most popular, most wanted, and unfortunately most expensive sneaker themes on the market these days. Introduced in 2010, Nike released their first South Beach shoe to launch the Nike LeBron 8. Along with the shoes came a limited “It’s Good to be The King” t-shirt (shout out to osneaker.com!). This season, they released the LeBron Air Slide and LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, both using the eye-catching Green, Black and Pink color scheme. Finding any of these at retail is considered a miracle. Similar to other limited 9’s, the South Beach aka Miami Vice style got some matching socks from Nike Basketball. Like most or their LeBron socks – Galaxys, Freegums, Chinas, Hornets, Taxi, Floridians – the “Ocean Drive” style is limited so you won’t find them at regular stores. I was able to avoid re-sell offers on eBay and found a pair at rockemsocks. Continue reading for a gallery presenting all South Beach products on a nice family portrait.

    • Means that you got the most difficult ones! Slides are relatively easy to get now.

  • the only thing that sucks about this new south beach, it takes value away from the 8's in a way. also im willing to bet that some fake china website will replica the south beach 9's and theyll look legit, smh destroying the shoe game :/
