Super-limited Zoom LeBron V Yankees Release at the Outlets

I don’t know if the title makes any sense, but it’s in fact true. Couple days ago we mentioned about the Tribute V’s hitting the outlets. Turns out early this month several Nike Outlet accounts received the Yankee edition too. Of course before anybody knew about this they were all gone. Possibly another B-Grade thing, but according to our sources most of the pairs came in the ZLV box with a Yankee dust bag and an extra pair of laces, exactly like the ones sold at House of Hoops. Some time ago there was a rumor about an online release of the Yankees, but we all know that never happened. Later several boutique stores got some pairs, but with all the hype going on, the prices never really dropped below the $600 mark. The outlet release of the Mr Basketball edition lowered the “black market” prices so expect the same with the Yankees. However, there are fewer pairs so they won’t reach the same level that’s for sure. If you gonna hit ebay and try your luck to get some Yankees please watch out for fakes. If you wanna know how to spot them see the updated Zoom LeBron V Fake Guide. Check out Nike Zoom LeBron V New York Yankees pics (OG) below. Courtesy of 3peat.jp.

  • Another incredibly stupid move by Nike. Just like the Mr. Basketball editions, these were incredibly limited and very pricey. Now their value went down because the people at Nike are morons. What they should've done with both shoes is have LeBron sign them through Upper Deck like they've done in the past. This would keep them just as hard to find, which would mean they keep their value if not increase.

  • Nike is not in business that resellers make a lot of money off of low productions. so look outside the box!! the world does not revolve around u. i use my lebrons to play ball in and not to stick on the shelf and never see feet. so paying more then retail for basketball shoes to me is whack!!!

  • I don't think all this was planned. It just has happened. I understand how those who hunted for the OG version feel like, but for others it's a great opportunity to buy shoes they could never afford any other way.
Nowadays only rare, expensive things are cool, but not everything should be this way. I feel bad cause the shoes were available for $50 and $80 and those who found out first bought all pairs and now they're trying to flip them for more than $300. This is not cool. Re-selling is a sickness!!! I know all the excuses, but for me it's all wrong.

  • whoa...B-grades suck! your basically buying a fake shoe lol..its the unfinished product, the nike rejects..i would not feel confident or proud at all if I ever wore a b-grade sneaker. Get some money you bums and buy the finished product, bums...
