One week ago, LeBron James wore a special LBJ8 Black & Red PE in a match up against the Portland Trail Blazers. The shoe featured an all black upper and red swoosh and speckled red outsole. According to Jason Petrie it’s a special make up made exclusively for The King, therefore it won’t release to public. Nike also created an alternate colorway, which is very similar to the one that we saw on LeBron’s feet. The main different here is the outsole, which is white in this new version. Also, a 3M panel around the laces has become visible on this photo. Another good match for the Miami Heat uniforms. Check out both “Portland PEs” after the break.

They look good... I prefer the white sole of Mayor's pair over the game worn version. Speckle air units are a fail in my opinion no matter the CW though. On Mayor's pair... is the heel 3M as well (as it appears to be)? That would be crazy!

I love the look of the Black on the V/2s it almost looks silky!!!! I really wish the Cool Grey V2s were the Black/White that Bron wears on court
