Nike LeBron 8 V/2 (429676-100), Nike LeBron 8 P.S. Tech Specs.

The number 828 placed on on the Nike LeBron 8 represents the 82 regular season games and the 28 playoff games. However, it’s not like LeBron James is going to play all of them wearing one shoe. Apparently, it will be three different shoes this year. As the season progresses, The King will do the switch from one version to another until he finally laces up the Post Season edition in April. The V/1 is the regular model with all the goods – Flywire, Carbon Fiber, and 360 Max Air. The V/2 is almost exactly the same, the silhouette is identical, but there’s no Carbon Fiber and the upper uses a synthetic shell with engineered Nike Flywire. It’s about 1 ounce lighter than the V/1. Last, but not least comes the 8 P.S. Similar to the Zoom Soldier IV, it features a Zoom Air (front) and 180 Max Air (back) cushioning system. The upper is constructed with Nike Hyperfuse technology. It’s also 1 ounce lighter than the V/2 and 2 ounces lighter than the V/1, so it should reach the 7 P.S. weight-wise. Check out Eastbay’s catalog image showing the Nike LeBron V/2. It’s coming soon.

  • Kudos to NLB! Your doing your homework. Can't wait to see colorways both V1 and V2.

  • What if they dont make the playoffs? hahahaha jk

Also, Im guessing the V2 is home colorway (white)

  • The Lebron 8's are one of the most comfortable shoes I've had for performance basketball. I had a V/2 back when they originally came out and am now using a V/1 from ebay, which is just as comfortable. I just bought a PS for my next pair (not aware of the 3rd model), and it doesn't seem as cushy, but hopefully, it'll be serviceable. Your post explained all the differences for me; thanks.
