Nike LeBron 8 “Miami Nights” were in fact Designed for Los Angeles!

When Nike released the Miami Nights colorway of the LeBron 8 Low last summer, sneakerheads went crazy trying to get a pair having in mind what had happened with the South Beach 8’s a couple of months earlier. Jason Petrie has recently explained that we shouldn’t call them Miami Nights, which was reserved for the LeBron 9, and unveiled the Mid version. Turns out it was supposed to drop during the All-Star Weekend taking inspiration from the beaches of the host city Los Angeles. Finally, the new photos from Kyle Yamaguchi present a LOOK/SEE sample tag from Pou Chen, which uncovers the truth… these were made to “Surf”!
