Nike Air Max LeBron VIII China Exclusive Packaging & New Pics

The China Exclusive of the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII will hit retail in October. The new Chinas are slated for the 10/1 release in Asia and 10/26 in the States. It appears there are two different version of the shoe. The Asian look sports a Chinese stone Lion on the tongue while the U.S. possesses LeBron’s classic signature Lionhead logo. New images presenting the Asian variation have hit the Internet including what appears to be the production packaging for the Nike LeBron VIII. The new box is a classic black drawer box with the image of LeBron James and a lion emerging from behind. The lion reference, also reflected in LeBron’s nickname (King James), seems to be the #1 theme now as the Lionhead logo is most likely to replace the L23 on his Nike products.

  • so are the foo dogs on the us version as well, kinda sounded like the regular versions will have the lion head and the chinas will have the foo dogs. i will buy the chinas if they have the foo dogs on the back and front. i dont want them if they dont, can you clarify this for me?

  • do we know for sure there are two different versions of the chinas to release?

  •
they look GOOD!

kinda looking like Jordan 7s as well...
I agree. The USA's remind me of them too. Not the most unique design, but gotta see them in person.

  • I noticed that they look like the 6's and 7's also. I was using the bathroom (i have some olympic 6's in there lol) and noticed that there are various elements that the lbj8 shares with the AJ6 and 7. Its easier to see on the china8 because of all the white on the shoe

  • well these lbj8 are like the best shoe out right now other than the jordan retro 11 cool grey. but anyways they have good grip ankle protection and they dont slow you down. the cons to this shoe is the price and the air max

  • This article is confusing. and I quote:
"The main rule when it comes to identifying fake LeBron 8?s is the new naming system and the box. First of all they?re called Nike LeBron 8, not Zoom LeBron VIII nor Air Max LeBron VIII...The numbers are no longer roman, but arabic instead" However, up above on this page I see, again I quote:
"Nike Air Max LeBron VIII China Exclusive Packaging & New Pics...The numbers are no longer roman, but arabic instead"

seems like a bit of a contradiction going on here!
