With the Air Max LeBron VII out on the streets it’s time for us to catch up with the sample versions that have surfaced. I’m sure all of our readers are aware of the hologram issue. Call me crazy, but I think it was an intentional play on Nike’s end to throw off bootleggers. Last year the Nike Zoom Power turned out to be a very useful tool to disguise the real Zoom LeBron VI, which gave the Swoosh the needed advantage and made fake makers late. I wouldn’t be surprised if most fake VII’s had the holograms while Nike GR’s plain L23 logo on the sole. We’ve updated the Air Max LeBron VII Listing with pics of both sample and production models and there’s yet another sample version of the White, Black and Red colorway. Our friends at Kicks On Fire labeled it as Footaction’s GR, but as you can see on this photo and others below it’s different from what’s really in stores. White sole, Red Swoosh on the medial side, and different L23 logo at heel is what sets them apart. Click the title to see more photos.

I'm really glad they went with the black soles, the white soles makes the design look more fragile somehow.

I think you're right, but I like the logo w/o the filling and the red swoosh.
Yup, the alternate red swoosh is nice... should've kept it!
I like the white L7J symbol on the outter sole
