Air Max LeBron VII Triple Black aka “Phantom” New Release Date

LeBron James’ seventh signature shoe, from the numbered series, officially released on October 24th, 2009 and was very well received by hoop fans. Those, who look forward to other colorways, can mark December 17th, 2009 in their calendars. On that day the third General Release version will hit the streets. The second GR – White and Navy – will drop in November. New pics of the All Black Air Max LeBron VII have sufaced the Internet. One week ago, when we profiled this colorway we announced the 12/3 as the official RD, but it’s most likely to be pushed back to 12/17. Btw which version do you like better? The GR, which is pictured below or this sample, which is reminiscent to LeBron James’ Player Exclusive version worn on the opening night. The All Black Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) was inspired by one of Bron’s rides – Rolls Royce Phantom. More pics of both shoes and the car after the break.

  • I'll never rock a black/black kick myself but have to say that the multi-texture materials is what sets it off and keeps it from looking geriatric (old folksy)! The black/chrome "V" eyestay is the best and much much better from the opening day gold accented pair Lebron wore! Good job Nike but not for me!

  • I like the Black joints with the mettalic gold accents better. The ones Lebron wore on opening night had a mettalic gold outline on the swoosh didn't it?
