We already profiled one version of the South Beach styled Nike Basketball Elite socks. However, for next weekend’s highly anticipated “Miami Vice” LeBron 9 P.S. Elite release, select Nike retail locations are printing up matching Elite Socks in a different colorway. Each pair features Miami Vice TV series-style text wrapped around the elastic band, with palm tree graphics printed in green throughout. Why so hard to get a pair of sock n I'm not paying 50.00 for socks to match my shoes
Its so hard because these socks are SUPER limited. It literally takes 6 minutes to make 1 pair of socks. I know with the KD Weatherman and China Lebron socks it took me standing in line and waiting a total of 6-8 hours to get 4 pairs of socks made when they did it here in Portland, OR at House of Hoops. Nike has only had these special sock stations 4 or 5 different times in a different city each time. Its not something that is done on a consistant basis. That is why people charge so much for them. It takes alot of time and effort just to get em
