LeBron James has been voted the NBA Most Valuable Player for the second straight season and for the fourth time in the past five years. He joins Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain as the fifth player with at least four MVP awards. LeBron will be receiving the trophy in a presentation before Miami’s first second-round playoff game after averaging 26.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.9 blocks a game during the regular season. He shot career-highs from the field (nearly 57 percent) and behind the 3-point line (nearly 41 percent). He led the Miami Heat to a franchise-best 66-16 finish, which included the best home record in team history and a 27-game winning streak that was the second-longest in NBA history. James totaled 1,207 points, including 120 first-place votes, from a panel of 121 voters that consisted of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. How many MVPs will LeBron win in his career?

I wonder how bad Nike is going to rape us with the MVP shoes this year.
