There is no end to the speculations about the mysterious date 1/18/2009. Can LeBron James go professional football? Could you imagine having a 6’9″, 270 lb tight end with 4.4 40-yard dash time? Obviously, Dan Gilbert, Danny Ferry and anyone else with money/a career invested into the Cleveland Cavaliers would not approve of such a move. But looking at these pictures, when was the last time we had an athlete of Lebron’s nature in an orange and brown jersey? Pics found at CavFanatic forums…
A buddy of mine works at the Akron field house and took these when they were filming “a” commercial. If this is the commercial everyone is talking about then… this is what its all about. If this is not the commercial that is supposed to be out the 18th, well this one will be coming out sometime.

being a browns fan those pics are the most exciting thing associated with the franchise in awhile. but as for speculation what it might be for, maybe bron is starting his own line of football cleats
stick to basketball Lebron, thats your bread and butter
I doubt he would go to the NFL, his contract with cleveland won't let him. And it is not a new football cleat line cuase why would he talk with friends and family.
why would you (as a browns far) want lebron james as your tight end when you have kellen winslow jr. seriously?
that jersey is so tight! i wonder if it will go on sale?
should be a new commercial for a new endoresement.
If This Was For The NFL Wouldn't The Back Of His Jersey Say James, Not LeBron?
Well that didn't stop Chad Johnson with the "Ocho Cinco" on the back of his jersey... Money can do anything.
i think king james and the nike lebron line would be introducing a football shoe after king james' name... but who knows? maybe this just a part of one of his endorsements of the six... we better see it on the 18th
