LeBron James’ Shoes Leave Massive Skid Mark On Court

LeBron James wore two different shoes last night… both LEBRON 11’s… one in white, one in black. With his new shoes, James left skid marks on the court. We’re talking Automotive-grade skid marks! I can’t recall seeing anything like it before. LeBron simply slipped while dribbling in transition, but his shoes left two lengthy stains on the hardwood, which were not that easy to remove. I’m not sure if it was rubber or maybe Hyperposite material, but it was a rather strange experience. It seems like the modification days are not over for Nike Basketball and the new Nike LeBron XI. Check out the pics and the video below.

  • That looks like the hyperposite material did it but man he must of came down hard to have down that. I wear the 11s to play ball and slipped and nothing close to this. Glad he's ok tho

  • I don't see why anyone is making a big deal out of this. This was not a fail on the shoes, it was a fail on LeBron. If you watch the play, he planted on the outside edge of his foot. He was sloppy all game and has continued to play sloppy tonight. He's in a funk and it's not because of the shoes. It's January, that is all. I don't see Nike thinking this means more modifications are in need.
