LeBron James Changes Shoes Three Times as Cavs Beat Kings

LeBron James drained another clutch 3-pointer with 15 seconds left and finished with 32 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers tied a franchise record with their 13th straight win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. He also had 11 rebounds and 9 assists

It took three pairs of shoes to get things done for The King. He started in the “Prototype” Soldier 11’s, then he switched into the “Cool Grey” LeBron 15’s only to finish things off in the “Wine” Soldier 11’s. That’s definitely some kind of a record. He’s done two pairs multiple times, but I don’t recall 3 shoes in 1 games… ever.

  • James started the game in a pair his black Nike signature shoes, switched to a pair of gray ones midway through the first quarter and a pair of wine-colored shoes at halftime.
?The first ones I put on, the strap kept coming loose,? James said. ?I don?t think the strap was long enough so a little malfunction. The ones I switched into, the second ones, we wasn?t playing well and I didn?t like the way I was feeling so I took those off. And obviously the third pair felt a lot better.?
James actually scored 12 in the second quarter with the gray shoes, but he had 20 in the second half -- including the last five points.
?It?s a mental thing,? James said.

    • Man, those Maroon Soldiers are gorgeous! Best looking shoes always bring the best out of players. This colorway alone has got me interested in purchasing a pair. I hope these drop. Look even better with these jerseys.
