LBJ Debuts LEBRON 11 Home PE But Goes Back to 10’s after 1st Timeout

The “Sneakergate” continues. Last night, LeBron James debuted a new White/Red version of the Nike LeBron XI. He tried a modified version of the shoe with a slightly raised toebox section, however, the fix doesn’t seem to work in the end. It took only a couple of minutes for James to go back to wearing the LEBRON X PS… after the first timeout call that occurred in the middle of the first quarter. King James scored a game-high 33 points on 13-for-21 shooting to help the Heat (5-3) rebound from their last loss and defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-95. Stay tuned for more updates on LBJ’s sneaker problems and enjoy the only decent look showing LeBron and his new kicks.

  • Well, That said it all Lebron don't like His New Shoes even if Nike raise toe box area. I believe it must be interchanging sole inside of the XI that Lebron don't like cause X don't have that. X's has that Zoom Max Air Technology and it don't move around that much and I thought that is the newest Technology that Nike has brought out for Lebron's. We already know Zoom Air and Lunar Foams Years back and I don't understand why would They set back to that Technology. That's why X is more stable than XI's. This will affect Nike's business for XI cause if holiday or any special occasions Lebron don't wear XI then the whole XI is just pointless. Nike need to built the whole new Shoe for Lebron that He will like and wear them.

  • Well Zoom Max is just a stiffer firmer version of Zoom Air so its better for power moves and not good for agile moves that require a shoe with more flexibility. In my opinion regular zoom are is more comfortable since it compresses easier. Max Zoom does flex much so doesn't move with your foot. Both cushioning systems are great I think Lebron is just having a problem with the fit of the shoe and the hotspots caused by the foamposite which need to be broken in.

    • Then No More Foamposite for Lebron if He's not wearing it. The thing it gets to Me that They had whole year to come up with XI's then it's a complete fail for Lebron. I guess Lebron don't wanna hurt His Designer Jason's feeling that He came up with that whole package deal for Lebron. LOL! But Really this whole thing don't make sense at all that Lebron just jump right back in X after 6 mins. I know You said Foamposite need to break in but Lebron already knew this would be coming and He just stop wearing it. Something is Up and We need to hear what Lebron has to say about this. Too Many Questions had to be asked.

  • I think Zoom Max is indeed better for LeBron. I think Zoom Air, especially in the full length configuration is better for the rest of us... unless you're a 6'5"-7'0" 250lbs+ monster. So this year we got an amazing shoe to ball in, but it's LeBron himself having problems. I am not sure how Lunarlon comes to play here... it doesn't bother me, but regarding the foamposite it is better once broken in. All in all... regular users will enjoy an adaptive fit that comes thanks to breaking in foamposite, but for LeBron it means he really shouldn't wear new pairs every game.

    • Explain how jordan dominated and heavy wooden clogs and dunked from the free throw line. You're reading into it too much. Don't buy into it, too much.

      • This doesn't mean players don't care what they wear, though. LeBron's feet issues alone are enough of a reason for him to get picky about shoes.
