The newly established NOW section says that we’re 17 days away from the release of the anticipated “4th of July” Nike LeBron 12. Nothing is going to eclipse the “Cleveland” colorway that’s slated for this weekend, but once the Finals adrenaline drops it will be nice knowing that the Independence Day launch is just around the corner… and it’s a pretty good one, too.
There’s only one thing that bothers me, though. If I didn’t know about the existence of the Veteran’s Day LeBron 12 PE, this upcoming USA-themed colorway would be a no-brainer. I would be thrilled just by the fact it’s not a PE. However, since LeBron’s predominantly Grey PE offers the same level of details with a slightly cleaner, less aggressive look, it’s the one that’s much more appealing to an average sneaker enthusiast, I think. Plus the added bonus of owning the same shoe that LBJ wears on the basketball court. Despite all that… the “4th of July” LeBron XII is a great way to celebrate the upcoming holiday. And this time it’s drops slightly sooner so you can actually wear these for the parade.
