Boston Celtics Take Commanding 3-2 Lead, Put Miami on Ropes.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 94-90 Tuesday in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics now lead 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. James and Wade are back at the brink of falling short from achieving their title promise again after losing the homecourt advantage. Forward Kevin Garnett led Boston with 26 points, including two free throws to seal it in the closing seconds. Forward Paul Pierce added 19 points, with none of them bigger than a 3-pointer to put the Celtics ahead with 52 seconds remaining. After piling up monster numbers through the first 40 minutes of this game, LeBron looked absolutely gassed down the stretch.

  • Being beat on your own home court in a series tied 2-2.... NO F#CKING EXCUSE!!! Big trades comin for the Heat in this off eason if they don't get it done.

  • Eric Spoelstra needs to be fired even if they win the championship. He SUCKS!

  • Boston is a
strong team. Poor match to Miami, even when they won three points just before
the end, they looked confused. They will win this round, if Lebron will watch the
Gladiator and take the game weight on his shoulders J.But seriously, they have to rebuild
mentally. Lebron strength and leadership, Wade flash and explosion, Bosch is
assassin, and one x factor. it's strange but somehow its all disappeared. They
    must be refreshed mentally

  • No way you can blame it on the big 3. As a matter of fact. They pretty much did everything. It's a team game. Heat still need to focus on playing as a team. The other players rely too much on them! Step you game up! Eric should be saying something! He has his hopes on the big 3 as well!!! They can do so much better if they put a team effort into it!!!!!!!!

  • Fire eric get p.jackson or someone who can handle such a abnormal team and get a better bench. Wade needs to play his game more consistantly. Pick up dwight or some good big guys to play D better. Lebron is there only big D and hes mainly a SF/PG. Or pack your bags lebron and head to Olk/Chi/Ny. Or go back home and carry your team while your still young.

  • LeBron's "not one, not two, not three, ....., not seven" rant might eventually come true. I mean he didn't say not zero :O. I love LeBron, I think he is by far the best player ever... I am just saying.

  • rajon rondo is the best point guard in the league, its a shame but honestly i think the celtics got it, series won by celtics in my opinion.
