This past weekend the first Nike LeBron 14 colorway was released to public… sort of. It was the so called “Out of Nowhere” make up, but in very limited numbers. I would like to say that more pairs will be available soon, but it really doesn’t seem like it.
Plus Nike wasn’t sure about the price, which in the end was reduced to $175. First orders were placed with the higher price of $225 but Nike corected that in the end. Additionally, the launch date for what seems to be the true launch colorway, the Black Ice, has been changed a couple of times already. At this point it is scheduled to be released next Friday.
On top of all of this… King James put us all down with his latest Instagram post by congratulating his fans who drove 3 hours for a chance to buy the LeBron 14 Out of Nowhere. I don’t usually dwell on stuff like that, but for some reason I took it very personal… not in a good way. I was better when I believed LeBron James doesn’t have anything to do with the way Nike handles his shoes at retail. How do you feel about all the LeBron 14 drama and it’s very, very long way to arrive at our doorsteps?
