$165… this is how much it takes to own a pair of LeBron X Lows

I will probably never get over the fact that Nike decided for a $15 increase in price for the upcoming Nike LeBron X Low. Actually the shoes are called Nike Air Max LeBron X Low indicating that the low-top uses a different setup than the impressive 360 Zoom Air unit in the mid version. Of course, the previous installments – VII Low, 8 Low and 9 Low – used the same 360 Air Max. However, back then the mids were also equipped with Air Max cushioning. This season, not only it’s the same setup for the fourth consecutive time, it’s also the same midsole and outsole as the last year’s LeBron 9 Low. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to use the same materials over and over again? Apparently not. If you don’t mind the price increase mark your calendars. The Easter colorway will be released on March 29th, 2013 at nikestore.com.

  • And Nike sucks again. $165? That's just ridiculous. I don't plan on getting any of these pairs.

  • Other "casual" shoes are getting more comfortable so sticking with the same stuff for 4 years is a really bad call. When you're not moving forward you're definitely moving backwards in the shoes industry. I don't see anything appealing about these for THAT price. I'm getting one colorway at best.

  • This is Ridiculous! $165 for Older Model Air Max! No Way! If it does has New technology as X Right Now then it would be Worth It! This is Really Bad n Does Not look good for Nike.
