In general the idea is always the same, but the outcome… well that’s totally different. We’ve seen it so many times… making White/Grey/Mean Green sneakers is an icon for LeBron James kicks nowadays. It started with the II, but after the high demand for the most exclusive of shoes Nike responded and they’ve become available to public. Although the pattern is the same the Dunkmans have been seen is so many different variations it’s hard to keep track. Three colors, but pretty much every shoe has different shades, thus different look and feel. From Medium Grey, Anthracite, Light Graphite aka “Gun Metal” Grey to many versions of the Mean Green. Good thing White is always the same. With the Soldier II, that did release to public at House of Hoops by Footlocker and in Asia, the idea was to make White upper, Grey toexbox and heel area with a translucent Mean Green sole. As you can see below in our sample vs released comparison the two version that did see the daylight are dissimilar apart from the general color blocking. Props to iwantlebron for sharing his photos of the samples.
