Unreleased Nike LeBron 9 “MVP” – Black Midsole Sample

Seeing these again brings back bad memories. It reminds me that Nike didn’t allow us to witness LeBron James’ legendary 2011-12 season the proper sneakerhead way. Something they did for Kobe Bryant year in and year out in his recent years with the Swoosh. We’re talking MVP shoes, NBA Finals shoes, Finals MVP shoes and of course Championship shoes. Call me crazy, but I actually think Nike would drop the Nike LeBron 9 MVP edition if King James didn’t get the chip. After all these shoes were announced to drop in June of last year. Things might get better with the upcoming Cork release, but all the buzz around them as well as the $305 MSRP is not looking good either. Anyway, turns out the MVP 9’s were designed in three different colorways. Joining the Quickstrike version (Yellow Plate) and LBJ’s PE (Gold Plate) is this new Black Midsole sample. It has recently surfaced on eBay in the classic sample size 9. Check out all 3 styles after the break and feel free to browse through the other 60+ LeBron 9’s.
