For three years in a row Nike used pretty much the same theme for LeBron James’ Christmas colorway. Basically, it’s a predominantly red upper with some green highlights. With the LeBron 8 it was only laces and LBJ signature logo on the back of the shoe. With the LeBron 9 it was again the laces and the heel pull tab. This year, with the LeBron X, it’s… the laces one more time, the outsole and the Nike swoosh logos. Seems like only the LeBron James signature collection stays true to the classic Xmas theme, because Nike’s other marquee stars have gone through other phases: Bronze (KD IV), Cheetah (Kobe VII), Video Game (KD V) and a Sweater? (Kobe VIII). How do you feel about the lack of variety regarding LBJ’s Christmas collection? Is it a positive thing? Check out the gallery presenting the last year’s model after the break.
