Last week the Nike Zoom Soldier VI made a quick appearance at nikestore.com, then got pulled down, and now it’s available once again. Just in time for the 4th of July and the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games, Nike Basketball has introduced the sixth installment in the LeBron James Soldier series featuring the USA Basketball theme with a White, University Red and Obsidian color scheme. The new Soldier 6 has been completely redesigned for maximum performance and it’s in fact the lightest signature shoe build for King James. It weights exactly 13.25 oz. in size 10.5 and still comes with Zoom Air cushioning. I only got a chance to play in them once, but the first impression is very good. Hopefully, LeBron will decide to wear them in London later this month.

So the logo on the strap should be blue, not white?
Yes, I forgot to mention that, but NDC stock pictures show the sample model. The one presented here is the actual version!
What kind of box does the shoes come in???
normal lebron box i just bought this today
is it just like the Lebron 9 box?
Exactly! It's the white drawer box.
Oh ok thanks peeps....have anybody hooped in them yet???
I did one session. They felt great. Very impressed with the comfort level and lockdown. It was nice to go back to Zoom too. Very light on feet! And they don't feel cheap at all.
Cool!! I'm definitely gonna have to get me a few pairs
yup nuffin new its just smaller but the box is bigger then the lebron 9 lows box so its a mid box i guess u can call it
THANKS
what kind of zoom is on these? heel/forefoot only, both, or full-length?
Nike Zoom units in the heel and forefoot for lightweight impact protection
These are really cheap looking in real life. No offense if youve bought them! But a flimsy nylon strap! Thought the king would expect more luxury than that! Really dislike these, only after seeing them in the flesh!!
Not 'flimsy' FUNCTIONAL, these are build to play in, where the his signatures are more of a 'club-friendly' shoe.
Lol, the Soldier line is always like that. They're made to be a more affordable and lighter weight shoe for outdoor/indoor balling. Cheaper materials is often a biproduct of that goal.
True, cheaper doesn't necessarily influence the performance of a shoe negatively though, since the Nylon-strap gives a perfect mix of lockdown, and flexibility in these.
I'm torn between this or the zoom soldier 4 USAB for the same price...any advice on which one is better?
