When I saw the latest release of the Soldier 6 in Orange and Hasta being available at NDC I was pretty excited. I was on the fence with the Ohio State digi camouflage edition, but these seemed even better. Unfortunately, the catalog image posted on Nike Store presented the sample version and the actual shoe looks different. It’s still Orange and Hasta. There’s still the camo digi inprint present, but it’s not what I had expected. The Orange upper is brighter… similar to the All-Star 9’s, the camo pattern is darker and sports a new design. The outsole is translucent instead of a 50/50 split solid white & camo. The shoes are still nice and I’m going to keep them. The inspiration behind the OSU edition was obvious when the team was scheduled to play an exhibition game on board of the USS Yorktown in Charleston Harbor. However, these are more mysterious with a different logo placed on the top of the tongue. Continue reading for a detailed look.

I like the tongue logo better than the regular one.
Anyone else feel some irritation from the tongue while playing in these?
When is the release date?
