The Showcase: LeBron 9 P.S. Elite “Miami Vice” (w/ Lace Swaps)

Fans have argued, which nickname is a better fit for these Elites between South Beach and McFly, but Nike has already come up with its own name… Miami Vice! It all makes sense because the South Beach 8’s were indeed inspired by the Miami Vice TV show and were also known as Pre-Heat. Turns out you need at least 3 nicknames for a hot shoe. This anticipated Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite is slated for June 2nd, 2012. That’s still a lot of waiting.
We already mentioned the shoes dropped in Poland and I need to say this more… I never though I would see so much re-selling in Poland! That’s where I get most of my shoes anyway, but it’s ridiculous to see official Nike retailers to double the price and take down offers once they realized it’s better to ship them back to the U.S. using eBay. I did get my pair in a normal store, though, called pro-baller.com and was even able to help a few friends… for retail. I really hope June won’t be like that and Nike won’t make us fight for them again. They already cost $250.
Back to the shoes. They are very nice. It’s definitely and upgrade in quality compared to the regular 9’s. Like some of you pointed out ankle support is weaker, but somehow they are more stable and you get better comfort. The additional padding on the inside really makes the difference. The weight has stayed the same (16.50 oz. in 10.5). Also, they are not as tight, but I’m not sure if I would go down in size. Check out the whole gallery below. Miami Vices come with 2 pairs of laces (Green and Pink), but there are some additional lace swaps including Black and my favorite Grey.
