Last week, the Kentucky Wildcats won their eighth national championship. None of the UK players wore the Nike LeBron 9 in the University of Kentucky colorway, but it must be nice for the fans, who have an opportunity to get the latest LeBron James’ shoes inspired by the current NCAA champion. At the beginning of the season Nike Basketball released three LeBron 9 colorways as a part of the University Pack, which had included Ohio State University, University of Miami, and University of Kentucky. The Wildcats version features Black & Royal upper with White outsole and swoosh. Too bad the released model doesn’t feature the official UK Basketball logo like the one placed on the official Player Exclusive styles, which again weren’t featured in the championship game.
