The NSRL LeBron 12 was supposed to be released on October 1st, but as we all know a “small cosmetic issue” was the reason why all stores were instructed to send them back to Nike. As of today we still don’t have the new launch date, but fortunately for us all the “Heart of a Lion” colorway was released on time. Hopefully the future styles will stick to their original dates. In the meantime, we might have solved the mystery of what the small cosmetic issue stands for. Some players reported a problem with the top eyelet falling apart after just a couple of wears. It was made of plastic (first batch of NSRL’s) and the re-defined version uses metal eyelets. All the evidence is pictured below. Shout out to dwoodactennis of NikeTalk for the pics.
