The King jump started his 2017 NBA Playoffs campaign by rocking his next signature model… the LeBron Soldier 11 in the very first game. It is expected to be released next month.
However, after the big stage unveiling he went back to the Nike LeBron 14, which is his current main signature sneaker. He wore the 14’s in Games 2, 3 and 4 against the Pacers and yesterday in Game 1 versus the Raptors. Each time wearing a brand new version, obviously.
Last night’s Wine and Gold colorway was his 32nd version of the LeBron 14 for the whole year. It’s already his 4th predominantly Wine based design, but each time Nike changes small details… in this case a white midsole. LeBron James has added some personal message by including “Bronny, Bryce, Zhuri” markings on the midsole of the left shoe.
With 32 colorways the LeBron 14 is trailing only LeBron 12 (42 styles) and LeBron 13 (33 styles) in order to become the most coveted signature shoe in NBA history. It took a while to get on the board so the current 3rd place is quite impressive and we still have many more, hopefully, games left.
