Many fans hoped that the first ever Nike LeBron Retro will give them a chance to buy LeBron James’ first signature shoe in a sought after First Game colorway. Back in 2003 Nike released between 500-1000 pairs, but there were no re-sellers around so most of them are still in good hands.
Let’s face it nobody predicts people camping for Nike LeBron retros. However, if the reports regarding the production numbers, estimated at about 500 pairs, will be true… then we have a big problem. It’s been a while since we had to hustle in order to buy a pair of LeBrons. The last truly limited pairs I can think of are the Soldier 10 Four Wins packs, obviously, but before that it would be the LeBron 10… Crown Jewel, Cork, MVP, Champ Pack.
Nike is definitely not going to make things easy for us with the release of the “First Game” Air Zoom Generation. They will drop at UNDFTD, Kith, Xhibition, Next, and now also at 34th Street House of Hoops location in New York City. Hopefully there will be other colorways in bigger numbers.

Thanks Nike...
Seriously, I can't understand it.
