PE Spotlight: Nike Air Max LeBron VII Hardwood Classic Alternate

LeBron James wore two different Hardwood Classic colorways this season (plus one special CavFanatic make up). None of those shoes were available to public and there’s yet another version, presented below, which is no different. It’s also one of those Friends&Family PEs. The HWC Alternate version is a very interesting design. The colors – Royal Blue and Orange – have stayed the same, of course, but the suede upper makes them very distinctive. Plus, there’s basically no White color used on these shoes, which surprisingly is very rare these days. On top of all that, speckles spilled around these nice sneakers (Swoosh and Air Max unit) make them even more unique. They really stand out. Big thanks to phead81 for sending the pics.

  • I saw these live and in person at the Cleveland's Got Sole event and other than the appeal of exclusivity... they really aren't all that appealing. It's a little overkill on the blue and suede if you ask me. The white/blue HWC work much better.

  • I like the other blue/white/orange HWC better but what I like on these is that there is NO patent leather. I'm just so tired of patent! I'm still but hurt that the HWC didn't release this year!
