Last month, Nike announced that LeBron James will be rocking the new Nike Hyperdunk this summer. In order to popularize the Nike Plus for Basketball he probably won’t use his own signature shoe for the 2012 Olympic Games. This means that we are unlikely to see any USA Basketball colorways for the LeBron 9. However, if he decides to opt out he may use this special White, Navy and Red colorway of his off-season model – Nike Zoom Soldier 6. I asked Jason Petrie via Twitter if there was going to be a USA LeBron 9 and he said "there will be a low but no mid.." maybe King James wears those.
