When Nike bumped the price for the Black History Month edition from $180 to $200 it was somewhat justified by donating proceeds from sales of the BHM Collection to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. Still, it didn’t feel right, though, paying $200 for a regular pair without any Nike+ features or even the diamond cut Swoosh. Seems like the same thing is going to happen with the release of the All-Star edition. Apparently the special Area 72 packaging is also worth the extra $20. Initially, Eastbay reported a $185 MSRP for the Laser Purple/Strata Grey-Total Crimson X’s, but nikestore.com has updated their launch calendar stating a $200 price tag.

Honestly this colorway just doesn't do it for me. There is nothing about this shoe we haven't seen before. Galaxy theme. Same quake print on the midsole that was on Blake Griffins All Star shoe two years ago SMH. Not to mention the shoe is f-ing PURPLE!!!!! Seriously WTF?! Im not saying these are horrible. They just don't have that "Ooooh I need these factor!" Kinda burnt out on the Lebron X now. Only thing I want is new options on the ID and to see the P.S. Elite shoe

For that dude to get mad at you for not liking them just tells you he's in it for the wrong reasons.. He's worried about how you see him in the limited shoes and not about himself. I preordered a pair but I didn't pay anywhere near 350 lol. And jr Lyon, it being purple kinda made me hesitate on them but that 3M splatter is just nasty lol. Can't wait to see the elites too! $285 though.
