For Holiday 2011, Nike Sportswear is releasing a special LeBron James collection that includes the Air Force 1 Premium Low QS and the Air Max Conquer QS. Both are crafted with premium black leather, with the Air Force 1 equipped with a high-traction outsole reminiscent of a duck boot. The Air Max Conquer is winterized as well, a high-cut ACG boot that features waterproof overlays, rugged outsole and a 180 Nike Air unit at the heel. A special King James logo at the tongue and insole complete the look. Both styles are slated to release in November at 21 Mercer and select Nike Sportswear global retailers.
Additionally, Nike Sportswear presents the LeBron James Destroyer Jacket, a standout piece among NSW’s Holiday 2011 Collection built around the basketball superstar. Crafted from 100% recycled wool, the garment features classic varsity jacket styling accented with a number of special insignias that refers back the Chosen One: “Viva T-Rex,” or long live the king, is embroidered on the inside of the placket, LeBron’s Lion 6 logo makes an appearance on the left sleeve, and “Virescit Vulnere Virtus” is inscribed on the tag at the lower left body, which translates to “Courage becomes greater through the wound.”
The Holiday 2011 LeBron James apparel collection from Nike Sportswear is made up of classic pieces that are adorned with personal symbols, their stories having helped shape the athlete and person he is today. This can be seen in the 1823 Rugby Shirt, its stash design inspired by the Shooting Stars. Other notables in the collection are the FZ AW77 hoodie, as well as a pocket tee in black or red, all featuring Lebron’s Nike Sportswear Lion 6 logo.
