This season, LeBron James’ signature collection will consist of at least 5 different sneakers. It started with his main shoe (LeBron 8 V/1) and the Ambassador 3.0 back in October. Now we await the V/2 version, which will hit stores in December/January. Similar to last year’s King James will debut a special shoe for the Playoffs (LeBron 8 P.S.). To conclude the season, Nike will release the next installment of the Soldier line – Nike Soldier V. The current version is an amazing performer, and with the very first pics surfacing today, seems like Soldier’s successor is going to be a hit.

Looks like they kept the heel cup from III just like they did on the IV and clearly carried over the same sole and modified the mid-sole as well. The perf models made me think of the 2k3 Lebron wore in his rookie pre-season.
I think it looks decent with it's nod to the 8 in the lacing system but that combined strap/shroud looks very interesting from a functional stand-point!?!?
I think the set-up is air max in the heel and zoom in the forefoot
remind of the Zoom BB with a strap - or the Jordan 2010 outdoors
