Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) Sneak Peek – November 2010

Will there be a big difference between Air Max LeBron VII and its next installment? We got a very first image of LeBron VIII that indicates its silhouette. From a reliable source, the general design of LeBron 8 is similar to the Air Max LeBron 7, with engineered Flywire chassis for support and lockdown, and the same full-length 360 max air unit on the midsole. Other than the Air Max LeBron 7 successor, the third installment of the Zoom LBJ Ambassador series is coming too. Info & pics via our friends at kix-files.com.

  • At least we know it's coming and it's an Air Max shoe, again. Seems like there is some sort of wraparound too.

  • Yeah, there's just a subtle hump on the top of the arch to indicate a strap and then behind the heel you can see where it likely fastens. Initially it looks a little too much like the VII for me but Nike seems to be leaning that way if we compare the Kobe IV to the V.

  • well if it aint broke dont fix it i guess but still...gotta see some real pics

  • You can bet it is very similar only this one has a strap. The biggest flaw of the VII if you wanna call it a flaw was the lack of ankle lockdown.

  • I was hoping they would go back to Zoom Air. I don't like straps on my shoe and I prefer Zoom Air so I guess I'll just have to stock up on Lebron VII Post Season's

    have you tried the VII's?

  • Has Jr_Lyon tried the VII's? Allow me to answer... oh mmmmyyyyy yyyyyeeeessss! Brother has a beast of a Bron' collection!

I agree, there's a lot heel slip in the AM VII and they clearly fixed that with the PS. Personally, I like the feel of the AM unit but it's added height takes some serious adjusting too and that's just walking... I haven't even balled in them yet!

  • They always end of changing something last minute. This info is a scratch on the service, but will most likely serve as the basis for the model.
