New photos presenting the next LeBron James shoe have surfaced the Internet. It’s the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII in the standard Black, White and Red colorway. This time the shoes are in Men’s size 9, so there’s no place for excuses about any disproportions caused by a smaller frame. In fact, the AMLVIII looks much better now. However, I still don’t like one thing. The upper combines luxurious looking Flywire / Carbon fiber panels with nubuck material, which feels cheap. We’ve been used to an extensive use of Patent Leather in the past, however, regular leather or mesh of some kind would be a better choice here. There are a number of interesting details including a woven patch on the back of the tongue, which reads “DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED TO THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF MR. LEBRON JAMES 828”. Yesterday we asked you about a new logo for King James. In this case the only one present is the Lionhead on the top of tongue. Seems like it has an edge for now. More photos after the break.

Wow... now i think that visual of shoe is strange... I don't like of the position of nike logo, the view of side still ugly
they should cover up the fly wire on the forefoot area and only leave the rear panel exposed, if nike wants this shoe 2 look somewhat good for off the court use which is there biggest profit they need to make this shoe look cleaner, maybe they are trying to hide the fact that the upper is similar to the jordan X, but its ugl plain and simple fix this please nike

These are okayy. I'll admit, they're not what i expected i thought the lebron 8's were going to be a whole new level, something new and creative looking. But hey, it says they were desgined specifically to lebron and what he wanted. since its his shoe, what we say doesnt do shit.

For me, honestly this are wack! I wonder what's J Petrie is thinking..., and again what's with those swoosh laying always at the back again for the 2nd time? And uh nubuck huh? This is the first time i felt a Lebron sig with no wow-factor. Maybe a little colorway should make me feel this are good enough maybe.
@moe23 DUUUUUDE, it's just a friggin' sample, don't nag there like it will never have improvements. Of course it still has flaws. Just be patient. So for the mean time.... Just shut your mouth and let the Nike guys do their thing.
