Nike to Lower Price for LeBron 14 to $175

I guess we saw it coming miles away. After lowering the price for the LeBron 13 Low from $175 to $150, earlier this year, and the KD 9’s as well, Nike decided to continue the trend and lower the price of the Nike LeBron 14.

A couple of weeks back Foot Locker reported regression in basketball sneaker sales with execs at the retailer saying that the Nike LeBron and Nike KD have been struggling this year. Hopefully this move will bring them on track.

Do you think that decrease in sales is driven by high prices or is it related to design or the shift in people’s casual wear preferences?

  • Poor design! The latest sneakers are ugly period. Not to take away from the casual line like Adidas NMD and ultra boost, which are both dope sneakers.

  • Maybe after buying his high priced shoes for years and getting low quality and materials that make noise I only buy them now in the outlets. LeBron 11 was a really futuristic look. Then they went real ugly.
