I’m not a huge fan of LeBron James’ low-tops mainly because they’re pretty much the same every year. I miss the good old days when the Zoom LeBron II Low was just as good as the Mid. Same rule applies to the LeBron 8 V/2 Low… in both cases we got a truly low-top edition in the classic meaning of this term, which is to “cut-off” the ankle area and leave the rest as it was. Nowadays it’s just a new upper, which kind of looks like it was inspired by the Mids, and the same old 360 Air Max tooling below. The Dunkman theme hasn’t had much luck either as of late. Instead of using the classic “Mean Green” they’ve been using what I call a “weird green” instead. Despite all that the presented Dunkman LeBron XI Low might be a winner. It’s not your instant classic, it won’t sell out either, but it’s a solid B+ for effort. Check out this Promo Sample pair, which recently popped up on eBay. The General Release pair, which drops in two months, is nearly identical.

Finally, the GS features the outsole of the 8's, and the Adult the 9's one. It seems the midsole is new.
