Seems having fifteen iterations of his signature shoe to back up with eleven installments of the secondary Soldier line is still not enough for LeBron James. That’s why Nike is going strong by introducing the Nike Ambassador X – the 10th version in the “budget” series, which is very popular in Asia.
It’s obvious you won’t see these on Instagram or more importantly on any basketball courts if you live in other regions than Asia/Pacific. But it’s still a LeBron James signature and it still provides a very solid piece of basketball performance. The main idea for the Ambassadors was always to have an entry level ~$100 shoe to offer more options for those who find $130-$140 Soldiers and $180-200 LeBron too expensive.
Quite recently Nike launched the Ambassador 10 in three styles and we start with my favorite – the Wolf Grey edition. While there’s no Battleknit nor Max Zoom the LeBron Ambassador X is still riding the good old Zoom Air and seems like it’s heavily padded for maximum comfort. Like I said it’s a budget shoe therefore don’t mind Nike reusing the whole midsole/outsole tooling from the Ambassador 9.
As usual, the beast place to find a pair is eBay from known and trusted Asian stores with low shipping rates.
