Limited Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Red Carpet” Release Information

Last Friday, in his only appearance in Madison Square Garden, LeBron James led the Cavaliers to a 100-91 victory. LeBron was on fire in the first quarter, scoring 19 points on 8-9 shooting. The game also marked the on-court debut of a special colorway of the Air Max LeBron VII. Often referred to as the “Red Carpet” version of the Air Max LeBron VII, the shoe trades its Flywire upper for a luxurious Woven texture. To celebrate King’s most recent appearance in New York, a limited number of these shoes will go on sale today in the New York area (most likely NTNY). If you’re not in the New York area, the shoe will be more broadly available on December 3rd, 2009 but according to our sources at Nike they will be limited in a way. Follow the releases page for further updates on the subject. UPDATE (11/12): New drop zones for today – HOHCHI, HOHLA, HOHNY, the 34th St. Foot Locker in NYC.

  • Yes, they are at NTNY today, for $160. On the 3rd they will most likely hit Niketown Los Angeles and Vegas, and various other popular Niketowns. So remember you can pick them up instore or you can always phone order them. Do not call Nike, as they consistently say they have "no info on the shoe" (theyre dumb operators).

  • Have to love NYC Niketown! I called yesterday about the Red Carpets and the sales person said that according to an internal email the shoes go on sale today (Thursday) at 10am and to call back. The person went on to say that the staff would need to deal with the line first, but after that they could take phone orders. Great News for soemone from California.

You can see where this is going...

I called this morning and after a talking with someone who didn't know what I was talking about, a "Manager" told me that of those had gone on sale yesterday (as was posted on the site) and were now gone. Got to love Niketowns.
