The University of Akron was once again the host of the fifth annual Wine and Gold Scrimmage, and Friday proved to be a beautiful night for basketball and baseball in Northeast Ohio, as the big crowd had their attention split – many checking cellphones and Blackberries for the score to the Indians-Yankees game up in Cleveland. LeBron James, who is preparing for the next season with the Cavs, rocked his latest signature sneakers – Nike Zoom LeBron V in a White, Navy and Gold colorway. The Cavaliers play three exhibition games next week before their historic trip to China in one week. Props to KDogLBJ23 for the photos.

The V's are growing on me more and more. Larry Hughes' BB's were smoking! I was about 10 ft. from Lebron when he was stretching and I said "Lebron, the V's are looking pretty good". He looked over gave me a thumbs up and then pointed at my kicks and gave me another thumbs up. I was wearing my Dunkman III's.
